Jon Tye


Jon Tye started Lo Recordings in 1995 to explore the ‘universe of sound’.

Prior to that he played in punk bands and post punk bands before moving into electronics and creating music for TV and Film and later dance and ambient music for labels including R&S, Rising High, Ninja Tune and Reflective.

He has recorded under a wide range of names and been involved in many projects including Missing Chemicals, Funtopia, MLO, Hairy Butter, Twisted Science, Milky Globe, Brain Machine, Cherry Garcia, Pink Fluid and Seahawks.

Currently writing, producing, researching and creating in Cornwall.
