‘Dan’ is a tongue in cheek song about the dangers of falling in love with your best friend’s girl.
With it’s ‘smooth’ and sophisticated sound that recalls Hall and Oates at their best and yet with that modern sheen that befits a member of Hot Chip, ‘Dan’ is as catchy as hell and has a great guitar solo.
