An Explosive Piece Of Mind

Cursor Miner aka Rob Tubb likes snowboarding and curry but also thinks a lot, maybe too much. His albums are frenetic sound concoctions that stretch the listener’s capabilities further than they’ve ever gone before but always with a wicked groove and a splash of humour. His first album ‘Explosive Piece Of Mind’ was released on Lo recordings in summer 2002. This genre busting album fused phat electro, 80′s synths and abstract electronics with psychedelic songs and deadpan vocals.

It gained acclaim in the press including The Independent and NME, Uncut and iDJ mag, play on XFM and Radio 1 and comparisons to Gary Numan, Beck, Kraftwerk, Fad Gadget and Syd Barrett.
